Diabetic patients who use glucose meters over years eventually lose sensation in their fingertips and are unable to draw further blood from the same areas. Non invasive glucometers are already explored in the literature but are not available on the market for patients who need them.
How it works
We built a spectrophotometer. A spectrogram of a user's finger is taken and analyzed. The training data was taken using a traditional glucometer.

Large portions of blood chemistry can be measured and analyzed by NIR spectrometry.
