Spearheading With Dropbase API

What it does

Building off of current programs the organization is working on, our Spearhead plan adds machine learning and blockchain technology to Dropbase API, transforming it into a program that is much more accessible for users in any field to research with. Machine learning allows for smart AI that will make the user experience increasingly intuitive the more they use Dropbase, allowing for organizations of any industry and competency level to utilize it.

How we built it

This concept was conceived after considering user pain points when using databases, specifically those of students and corporate workers. After interviews and empathy assessments of both customer segments, our developers decided that machine learning technology would be the perfect addition to Dropbase API for increased ease in usability. This is improved even further when coupled with blockchain to ensure secure, objective, and reliable data for users.

Challenges we ran into

Unfortunately, none of the members in our group had means of programming or prototyping a demo for our solution so we were forced to flesh out our solution completely by operational analysis.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Despite this being everyone's first hackathon, we were able to come up with a complete business solution within a day, albeit missing a technical demo. Most of the members in the group had no prior experience with the case analysis process but were still able to brainstorm innovative ideas and collaborate with others harmoniously.

What we learned

We were all able to learn something from this project, the developers learning the ways about case analysis and pitch deck formatting, and the business student learning about API and machine learning technologies.

What's next for Spearheading With Dropbase API

This project spans 5 years and sets the organization up for growth for the years thereafter with opportunities to expand to enterprises increasing in scale as time goes on and the databases and machine learning develop. This gives Dropbase a general path to follow and allows them to streamline their future expansion plans surrounding the development of Dropbase API.
