Inspiration

Our inspiration was wanting to easily talk to our family members who speak other languages.

What it does

This app translates as people speak in order to make conversations between people easier.

How we built it

We designed the app using Figma and the app itself will use Natural Language Processing in order to translate spoken words into translated captions.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into challenges brainstorming how the app would work and how we could set it apart from other translator apps.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of creating an app that can help people communicate with and get to know people from other countries who speak other languages better.

What we learned

We learned how to use Figma.

What's next for SpeakMe

What's next for SpeakMe is to create a physical app that people can use.
