Speak Master - Al Voice English Tutor

I## Inspiration

Many people in Pakistan want to speak fluent English but feel shy and can't afford expensive tutors. I wanted to create a friendly AI friend who never judges and is available 24/7 to practice with.

What it does

Speak Master is an AI Voice English Tutor.

• User clicks "Try Demo" and talks with AI using their microphone.
• AI listens, replies with voice, and corrects grammar and pronunciation.
• It gives instant feedback and a confidence score.
• It has different scenarios like Job Interview, Daily Conversation, and Travel.

How we built it

We built it using Lovable AI for the frontend, with React and Tailwind CSS. We integrated Web Speech API for voice-to-text and text-to-speech to make it a real voice conversation. The AI brain is powered by an LLM to act as an English coach.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was making the voice conversation feel natural and not robotic. Also, handling different accents was tough. As a student with no-code background, learning to prompt correctly on Lovable was a learning curve.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We made a working voice-to-voice AI tutor that actually talks! It can correct users in real-time, which is super helpful for learners.

What we learned

We learned how to build a full-stack AI product using no-code tools, how to integrate voice APIs, and how to write a good prompt to get the best results from AI.

Next, we want to add Urdu to English translation help, add more scenariosnspiration
