Speak Master AI Voice English Tutor

In## Inspiration

Many people understand English but hesitate to speak. They don't have a partner to practice with. I wanted to build a personal AI voice coach that anyone can talk to anytime without judgment.

What it does

Speak Master is an AI Voice English Tutor. You speak, and it listens, corrects your grammar, pronunciation, and gives you real-time feedback like a real tutor. It has different practice modes like daily conversation, interview practice, and vocabulary building.

How we built it

We built it using JavaScript, HTML, CSS for frontend, and used Web Speech API (Speech-to-Text & Text-to-Speech) for voice interaction. We integrated an AI model to provide intelligent corrections and suggestions.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge was handling different accents and making the voice recognition accurate. Also making the feedback instant and natural was difficult.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a working prototype that actually talks and helps users improve fluency. It feels like talking to a real person.

What we learned

We learned how to work with voice APIs, prompt engineering, and how to make user-friendly UI for learning.

What's next for Speak Master

We want to add more languages, progress tracking, daily streaks, and a mobile app version.spiration
