SpatialSync
Inspiration
Furniture returns can happen when products do not fit customers' spaces or when assembly becomes frustrating. SpatialSync aims to reduce these problems by helping customers check dimensions and follow assembly instructions before and during furniture setup.
What it does
SpatialSync is a full-stack furniture-fit and assembly companion.
- Room Fit Checker: Checks furniture dimensions against room and doorway measurements.
- Assembly Guide: Provides interactive, step-by-step assembly progress.
- Troubleshooting: Helps users resolve common assembly problems, with optional AI-powered assistance.
- Business Impact Calculator: Demonstrates how reducing preventable returns could affect business performance.
How we built it
We built SpatialSync using Python, FastAPI, SQLite, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
What's next
We plan to add camera-based augmented reality, product-specific assembly instructions, deeper AI troubleshooting and real furniture catalogue integration.
