Inspiration
As someone who had to move countries at young age. I had to face loneliness and the feeling of being a stranger to both the country I moved to and my home country. At those difficult for me times I realised computer games actually helped me to cope. Not only that they bring colours to your routine but also they helped me to find friends in a new place. I always liked to create different stories, and after I played "Mouthwashing" I got an idea of crew travelling around the space searching for a place where they can revive humanity. Then I got an idea of main conflict: protagonist doesn't want to forget about his culture, while the antagonist sees old cultures and traditions as a threat to his new world.
What it does
This is a visual novel where player's choices completely determine the ending of a game. Since the protagonist boasts the ship. It's his duty to serve Jordan Barnet's whims. However it's up to you to decide which side are you taking. Main measurement is a "trust scale". Every interaction with npc's either increases "trust" or "decreases" it. Increasing crew members' trust helps you to organise riot against Barnett's will. But you should be careful if Barnett's trust to you falls to zero, your game is over.
Challenges we ran into
I'm not familiar with coding, so that is the main difficulty while working on this project.
