Sparty Party

Inspiration

Our biggest inspiration for this project was the game cookie clicker. We took a lot of the same concepts from that game such as upgrading the how rapidly the player earns points

What it does

When the player clicks on Sparty, the player earns spartan cash. Spartan cash can be used to buy upgrades such as Wells Hall, the MSU football team, and Zeke the Wonder Dog. Upgrades increases the rate at which spartan cash is earned. The goal is to eventually reach 100,000 in spartan cash

How we built it

We primarily used HTML when building our project.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest obstacle we faced was learning how to develop a website using html as no one in our group had any experience with HTML. We also had some initial trouble setting up GitHub.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Despite our very basic understanding of HTML, we're very proud of how our website turned out. We feel we did a good job incorporating visuals and audio into our website while also making the website interactable.

What we learned

We learned a lot about HTML, and although our project is a result of the group's limited knowledge of HTML, we came away with knowing a lot more than we did before. In future projects, we hope to expand on our HTML knowledge even further and make something even better.

What's next for Sparty Party

Now that we know more about HTML, we could make several improvements to Sparty Party, such as making it generally more complex and interesting as well as polishing some of the visuals and the animation of clicking on Sparty.
