Inspiration

The abundance of free stuff from Spartahack.

What it does

Gathers information from instagram about various MSU free swag from clubs and organizations.

How we built it

We created a webapp using instagram's basic display API.

Challenges we ran into

Getting the API token to not expire. Initially tried to write in a different language.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Completing a project for our first hackathon.

What we learned

Learned a little bit about using API, as well as web design.

What's next for Spartan Swag Near Me

Possibly trying to write using React, and next.JS. Expanding the navigation bar. Possibly having a form so users can submit information.
