Executive Summary
A technical solution in the form of an application to help firefighters assess and prepare before entering a burning structure. The application will be integrated with structure floor plans in addition to heat sensors, allowing firefighters to better protect themselves and any civilians in distress.
Inspiration
Protecting the men and women who protect us from fire.
What it does
This application provides first responders with data regarding the building (such as floor plans, materials, etc.) and the people residing in the building at any given time.
How we built it
We built an iOS application on xcodes in swift.
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges our group faced included making the system feasible, seeing as originally we wanted a much larger system. Another challenge we faced included making the app user friendly in order to maximize user population.
