Inspiration
"Sparkle," our game project, draws inspiration from the addictive nature of the popular idle game, Cookie Clicker. Recognizing the immense appetite for mobile gaming and the market's thirst for top-notch web3 services, we envisioned using a mobile game as a dynamic medium to fulfill this mission.
What it does
"Sparkle" is not just a game; it's an immersive idle gaming experience designed to cater to players' desire for enjoyable yet time-efficient gameplay. In this idle game, players cultivate and nurture a radiant "star" on their mobile devices by harvesting the in-game currency known as "sparkle." The essence of idleness allows players to indulge in the game without the need for extensive time commitments.
Moreover, "Sparkle" introduces a novel dimension by incorporating pi currency as a medium for in-game transactions. Players can utilize pi currency to acquire various in-game items that enhance and accelerate their gameplay. This fusion of idle gaming mechanics and a web3-based currency system elevates the gaming experience, offering players both simplicity and depth in their interactions with the virtual world of "Sparkle."
How we built it
Our journey involved a meticulous process of conceptualization, design, and development. We harnessed cutting-edge technologies to seamlessly integrate web3 features into the mobile gaming landscape, ensuring a smooth and captivating user experience. For the gameplay mechanics, we opted for the PyGame library, leveraging its versatility and ease of use to bring our vision for "Sparkle" to life. PyGame provided a robust foundation, allowing us to craft an engaging and dynamic gaming experience that captivates players from start to finish. Concurrently, we seamlessly integrated this gameplay component with a web application demo developed using React.js, enhancing the user interface and overall accessibility.
Challenges we ran into
The ticking clock of a 24-hour timeframe posed a significant challenge. The constraint of limited time meant we couldn't delve as deeply into the intricacies of the chosen technologies as we would have liked. Despite this time crunch, our team demonstrated resilience and adaptability, prioritizing key functionalities to ensure a polished and playable product within the given timeframe.

In the face of time constraints, we take pride in successfully delivering a fully functional product. What we learned
Team collaboration and how to make good workload distribution: we have designer and developers on our team so we utilized resources from every person. Embarking on this project has been an enlightening journey, providing us with valuable insights into the synergy between mobile gaming and web3 services. Our exploration has not only deepened our understanding of user preferences but has also revealed innovative ways to seamlessly integrate blockchain technology into the mobile gaming experience, fostering user engagement and satisfaction.
