Sparkle

Inspiration

  The idea was to read a book a day. This app makes it easy and very convenient for readers to find random books. 

How it works

 This books works much like pandora. The first time the app is opened, a random book will show up with a cover      
 image. The user can either decide to read or can press the "dislike" button to generate another book from a different 
 genre. 

Challenges I ran into

 Challenges we faced were connecting the back-end, written in python, with the front-end, written in javascript. 

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

 We were able to produce the app and be able to read the books on our simulator. With more books on our database, 
 we were able to shuffle through many books. 

What I learned

I learned a lot about developing promising ideas. Particularly, when we were designing the app. I also learned how to
merge back-end source code with the front-end.

What's next for Sparkle

We plan to expand the amount of books we have available for users. A variety of books will allow for more exploration
and motivation to read more.
