Inspiration

The inspiration came from having to manually write out the social media post descriptions for multiple products daily.

I wanted to create a simple app that would simplify this process, of being able to paste in the company's name, product and its description and have the app automatically generate two different social media post ideas - one with a creative and fun tone, and another with a formal tone.

What it does

The user simply needs to enter in the company's name alongside the product's name, and description and have two social media post ideas automatically generated for them (one with a creative tone and one with a formal tone)

There is also a chat that the user can use to further discuss the social media post ideas with an AI to improve on them or to generate new ones.

How I built it

The app is built using AWS PartyRock using the Claude AI model for text generation.

Challenges I ran into

I initially ran into challenges with trying to allow the user to enter in image URLs. However, I found out that this was not possible as the app is not able to view the image.

Therefore, I opted for the user to enter in the product's description which ended up being a better alternative as the user has finer control over how the social media post is generated instead of the AI's interpretation of the product image.
