Inspiration

This project attempts to bring WE-SPARK vision to life.

What it does

Project comes in 3 parts.

1st Part is the form through which people can request for project creation. 2nd Part is the admin web app which allows full control over project creation , student sign up for projects and Project board view. 3rd Part is the student facing web app which allows students to view their previously done volunteer work as well as see the up to date project board

How we built it

I build it using Flutter + Firebase.

Flutter allows possibility of making all the parts into PWA.

Through Firebase , we can track custom analytics and metrics and display it in app.

Flutter + Firebase realtime updates displays phenomenal user experience.

Challenges we ran into

I could do much more and cover more areas and also work on UI , but trying to make all 3 parts in few hours was a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I still managed to finish as much as I could and I got the basic flow working.

What's next for Spark

• PWA support
• Update UI
• Record custom analytics for more powerful and insightful metrics
• Extra : Students can request a certificate for volunteer work done which can be minted as an NFT on a blockchain
