How we started
We launched Spacewalk during the COVID-19 pandemic to create a marketplace for stood-down staff to go on external secondments ("Spacewalks") to companies that needed their skills.
While this initiative provided a valuable solution during a challenging time, we received compelling feedback from businesses expressing a strong need for easy-to-use software to connect their talent pools to both internal and external opportunities.
Inspired by this feedback, we worked closely with these customers to expand Spacewalk’s capabilities. Our platform evolved into an AI-powered, no-code talent marketplace that enables any business to start its own talent marketplace in minutes, connecting talent to opportunities within its company, community, or network.
