Inspiration

We just wanted to do something fun and interesting with a platform that offered a wide variety of APIs to play with.

What it does

APOD Integration: Displays NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day for daily astronomy content.

Mars Rover Explorer: Shows recent Mars Rover images with interactive navigation.

Earth Timelapse: Displays the latest NASA EPIC Earth imagery, automatically finding the most recent days with sufficient images to build a timelapse.

Asteroid Visualizer: Fetches real-time near-Earth asteroid data for the past 7 days, highlighting the top largest or closest objects, with interactive danger-level charts.

Fun Facts: Offers educational facts, images, and videos about space to engage users.
