Inspiration
I got inspired by this challenge's Prize money and the technologies it is restricted to.
What it does
It is a Space Shooter Game in which a space craft is used to defend our planet from the enemy monsters by shooting lasers and killing them before they reach us.Each killing gives 100 ponts and then the score is displayed after the game overs.
How I built it
I built using HTML5 for the base design, CSS for styling and JavaScript for functioning of game. The Game Screen is considered to be fixed.The monsters are coming from Right side of screen and the Space craft is at the Left Side of screen to shoot them before they reach us.The Laser plays a major role in this game as it is the object which when touches a monster,the monster gets killed with a explode and the laser vanishes , thus increasing our score by 100.
Challenges I ran into
The biggest Challenge that I faced was killing of Monsters and then vanishing of laser object.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
I am proud of the Accomplishment that i completed my project on time and i am a google action developer too.
What I learned
I learned never to give up while doing a project. I came to know about many things which generally gets ignored by many game developers like exact pixel location and sounds at perfect timing.
What's next for Space Shooter game
It can be developed more to be played on VR and AR technologies.
