What it does
It's a social media app that lets you socialize with likeminded people about space and with aliens (AI) from outer space.
How we built it
We started with researching our tech stack and what the needs of our database would be and from there further do research of similar web applications to base off of and then add in extra technology layers we're not familiar with for more learning opportunities
Challenges we ran into
setting up deployment with goddaddy and vultr, database table limitations for file uploading
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Overcoming various challenges associated with using new technologies and deploying on a domain without software like godaddy and vultr for running the web app
What we learned
We learned how to deploy a web application with modern technologies, and modern AI technology, and External API usage.
What's next for space chat
Adding on top of already existing features, refining the web app flow, and adding scavenger hunt finding feature to collect various items from different communities
