Space Cards

Inspiration

We wanted to create a way to study optimally while doom scrolling.

What it does

It allows a user to make flash cards that pop up less and less frequently for each time a given flash card is correctly answered. When a card is answered incorrectly, the time increment between popup quizzes decreases.

How we built it

We built it with Qt Creator, C++, and Sqlite

Challenges we ran into

We were learning how Qt and Sqlite work while we made the project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting a desktop application up and running with technologies that we learned on the way

What we learned

We learned that coming prepared with an idea and tech stack already learned can really expand possibilities with regards to scope of a project. We spent a lot of time learning how things work rather than implementing a refined product.

What's next for Space Cards

Implementing an Ai agent that can take a textbook name, chapter, and section, and automatically generate the flash cards for the user.
