Inspiration
As children, we all thoroughly enjoyed playing the popular board game, battleship. This was a huge inspiration to our Hackathon project, for this allowed us to come up with a way to face off and battle against opponents' planets.
What it does
This game allows two players planets to face off and use military bombardments to attack the opponent's population. Each planet is represented via a 2d int array, with each element as the number of people in that area. Missiles are launched, across space, to hit a random spot on the opponent's planet surface. The location and density of each population area are hidden from the opponent. Players can battle via wireless connection.
How we built it

Challenges we ran into
We initially intended to add a defensive strategy for each player, in the form of moons, that orbit around the planet surface with the possibility of blocking the impact of a missile. This was too complex and buggy for the time constraints, and was thus removed from the final build.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Shuffle function for randomly spreading out the population across the planet surface, and wireless connection play
