I’m a creator from China. This project began with a simple wish: to plan a Spring Festival trip for my family. After spending an hour or two browsing Xiaohongshu and TikTok, I had seen countless beautiful destinations, but choosing one only became harder. With the time we had and the budget we could afford, where would be truly worth going? I want life to be about more than staying busy. I want to share beautiful landscapes, discover local food, and explore unfamiliar cities with my family. So I created Soya Shanhe for us. By entering travel dates and a budget, we can discover destinations at their seasonal best. When our dates, budget, or other needs change, the plan can adapt with us. The Chinese name, 山河有期 (Shanhe Youqi), carries a promise: one day, we will meet the mountains, lakes, and seas. May we spend our best years discovering the world’s beauty, arriving at just the right moment.
