Inspiration
What if we could take an audio story, a raw snippet of human experience, and transform it into a unique piece of digital art? What if we could then anchor that art to the exact place on the globe where the memory was made? Souvery was born out of a silly idea of transforming our personal memory to digital asset and share it with the world.
What it does
Souvery transforms our most personal and fleeting memories into permanent, beautiful digital art. In a world of endless photo scrolls, we forget the stories and emotions behind the pictures. Souvery changes that.
How we built it
I built it using Bolt.new(90%) + Gemini. -Used React+Vite for frontend -Backened=Supabase -API's= Elevenlabs(Speech to text), Algorand Blockchain-Nodely API. Thanks to Builders Pack!
Challenges we ran into
Initially started with a different framework that led the project to difficult path of dependency conflicts and build errors that were incredibly difficult to debug. I spent a significant amount of time trying to patch these issues before realizing the core problem was the environment itself.
This forced the project to make a tough but crucial decision: to pivot our entire architecture to the Vite + React stack.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
First and foremost, I m proud of shipping a complete, functional, product under an intense deadline with Bolt.new. I made this under 24 hour. So not completely polished on UI as per expectation. But on the works.
What we learned
It has been incredible learning experience of Vibe coding with Bolt.new. Honestly Bolt makes it so easy to turn ideas to reality. I learned a lot about API's, blockchain, error solving, while making this project.
What's next for Souvery - A decentralized storytelling platform
This hackathon project is just the beginning for Souvery. I want to make Souvery a true web3 platform, a global, decentralized archive of human memory.
