Inspiration

This is an initiative in support of the SolidarityCard social impact project (https://solcard.org).

We are building a compounding web-of-care to reconnect humanity and take us from competition to collaboration.

How might we start to build the web-of-care?

Record conversations between people that don’t know each other. Help them skip the small talk and go straight to having an authentic connection. Post the recordings online so we can all enjoy the experience of getting to know each other. Reward participants for each conversation they record.

What it does

Create unique souvenirs!

We’ll use Natural Language Processing and Text-To-Image Generation to create Personalized Artwork based on the transcript of a conversation.

Conversation → Transcript → NLP → Prompt → Text-To-Image → Personalized Artwork

How we built it

We met twice each day to define the product. We had very long discussion about how we can integrate all of our idea. We did research to figure out how to get the summary which is producing an image which attaches emotions of the people from the conversation. We worked on building a general understanding between all the team members. Everyone was installing hardhat and the first setup to start with the solidity contracts on its local environment to learn and extend knowledge -> p2p learning so everyone in the team knows a little bit about how the whole system works.

Challenges we ran into

Organizational separated over time zones English is not our native language, so it was hard sometimes to understand each other distributed work during full time job is hard talking about the same thing building a team and perform mentors missing for remote teams for more advanced specific questions about Solidity

Technical setting up work environment choosing the right tech stack for frontend automatically generating prompts to generate images that adequately represent the conversation

What's next for Souvenir

Improve it and implement it in SolidarityCard project.

Improve the automated prompt generation.

Automate the text-to-image generation as soon as DALL·E or Midjourney provide public APIs.

We want the NFTs to be non-transferable since we don’t want to motivate financial speculation. They are meant to be a reward for the two persons that had the conversation.
