Sous-Chef

Inspiration

We wanted to solve the problem of finding good recipes from ingredients around the house. This would lead to healthier eating

What it does

Sous-Chef asks a few questions and suggests ingredients you would be interested in using. I then uses a gradient-decent based recommender engine to suggest a recipe

How we built it

We used Amazon lex and Lambda We built most of our logic into Lamda and used Lex to handle the Intents, Utterances, and Slots.
