I couldn't add it for some reason, but for the types of prizes is all three (Best Middle School Hack, Workshop Project Award, and Best IN-PERSON Hack)

This game is inspired Asteroids, an arcade game in 1979 made by Atari, one of the OG companies when it comes to old arcade games. Some minor modifications are made, and some corners are cut due to the time limit, but overall it is a perfect (modified) parody of asteroids.

This game plays like Asteroids, but instead it uses a pizza as the spaceship, a cookie as the bullet, and those disgusting sour lemons as the asteroids (sorry to anyone who likes lemons :) ). And since there is no old-style joystick, I use the cursor which is now a peppermint.

I built it in Python using the libraries pygame, math, and random.

I'm proud out this because this is my first ever hackathon, and I am still in middle school. And I have never done pygame before. But I could have never done this without the staff that helped me along the way.

I learned more of Python and about the libraries pygame, math, and random.
