Inspiration
We wanted to solve a disturbing yet ignored problem in the society. Hearing loss is a prevalent issue today that affects millions, yet it is not often talked about. So our inspiration was fueled by the desire to make a positive impact in people's lives.
What it does
Statistical Audibility Prediction (SAP) can predict what sounds will be heard, making it easier to cancel out unwanted noise. This can make speech more discernible by making background noise, such as traffic, quieter and enhancing nearby speech.
Challenges we ran into
Some personal challenges were our schedule differences which was as a result of our work life and school assignment. And other challenges were resistance to change as our innovation kept evolving with time, staying up to date with the trends in the market.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our team's persistence, the hard work we put into, our ability to complete our work irrespective of our personal differences.
What we learned
We learnt the importance of division of labour, we also learnt how to use our time wisely, and above all we learnt the essence in corporation.
