Inspiration

SoulStamp was created hoping to have a place that valued online kindness, helping others, and creative efforts. While people focus on the negative news, good achievements may get overlooked in the digital world. Since I loved blockchain and AI, I wanted to design a system that appreciates good actions and inspires more people to do them.

My dream was to create a system using Web3 that would give everyone a digital passport showcasing their positive contributions, while allowing privacy, enjoyment, and self-expression with AI-driven rewards and blockchain-based badges. Because of this vision, SoulStamp was created to reward personal growth and encourage a cheerful online community.

What it does

SoulStamp uses games and blockchain to help users secure digital stamps for their good behavior on the web. People can share their kindness, creativity, or helpfulness on Reddit, social media, or other open-source platforms in this opt-in system. --> Users can use text or video to send their deed, and an AI assistant reviews it for accuracy and good quality. --> In Algorand, verified deeds are made as soulbound NFTs and become permanent mementos that no one can take away. --> Users are organized on a leaderboard by their karma points and can check how their achievements compare with others. --> Once users add a stamp to their collection, they are recognized by a shoutout from their Karma Mentor using AI technology from ElevenLabs and Tavus. --> The SoulStamp token is shared by a Reddit bot in fun groups, helping to make competition fair and inspiring competitiveness among members.

How we built it

The project was constructed with Bolt.new by using its straightforward user interface.

Frontend Development: --> Made the UI/UX design neat and uncomplicated for smooth user experience. --> People register using a Web3 wallet or anonymously using a pseudonym to stay private. --> You can check all of your earned stamps and achievements in the SoulStamp Journal.

AI Validation: --> Together with ElevenLabs, we created using AI to give students feedback for each work they submitted. --> Tests were done on the text using AI to verify that its content matches publicly available data from Reddit and GitHub.

Blockchain: --> They used Algorand-based SoulStamps to make sure badges are connected to users and cannot be transferred to others. --> Added a blockchain leaderboard that shows the names of the top contributors.

Social Integration: --> Introduced a way for stamps users to share them with other people on Reddit to motivate them to compete. --> To increase options, we set up a premium level on RevenueCat that gives access to scarce stamps and personalized Karma Mentorship.

Challenges we ran into

Evaluating the accuracy of AI made it slow, especially for diverse actions like sharing memes. Checking and changing the AI so that it does not downvote useful content required patience.

Minting soulbound NFTs on Algorand took a lot of hard work to master. It was difficult to create tokens that stayed permanent, recognized the identity of an individual, and could not be shared. Still, the idea that good deeds would not be changed made Blockchain stand out among other projects.

Designing a system with enough rewards, serious aspects, and a good balance between screens was a tough job. It was important to make the activity easy to follow and stay involved in so that it did not seem like a burden.

To make sure the game was enjoyable and easy to use, I had to pay special attention when bringing together AI validation, blockchain minting, and social sharing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

SoulStamp was the first to join both AI-driven karma verification and soulbound NFTs on the Algorand blockchain, leading to a new method for tracking good deeds online.

A Reddit bot included in SoulStamp helps users show their stamps to the community and socialize in a fun, community-focused manner.

One-of-a-kind AI support from Karma Mentors makes the experience engaging and full of motivation for both students and parents.

What we learned

I found it interesting to create a connection between verifying AI models and the blockchain. With AI, I worked to enhance blockchain-based services and help users enjoy it more and feel more involved.

A major lesson was that the user experience should be clean and easy to manage, even as AI and blockchain are adopted into the system. It became obvious that making things easy helps more, and that improving user experience has to be a top development priority.

Balancing the need for privacy with the desire for public recognition was a key learning moment. Users can generate karma on SoulStamp without revealing anything about their personal information.

What's next for SoulStamp

We aim to let users earn stamps for their good actions by allowing SoulStamp on additional platforms like GitHub, Twitter, and Medium.

In the future, users will have the chance to earn limited edition stamps for their efforts toward particular causes. It will encourage members to feel that they belong and make a larger difference in their community.

AI Karma Scoring: I have introduced a karma scoring algorithm that looks at the score category, the rating, and how often you add content. This way, users will be able to monitor their overall effects and remain involved.

SoulStamp is looking into ways to add more gamification across the platform, allowing people to compete against their friends and others to earn rewards.
