Inspiration

We believe art must keep living despite war! It gives people the spiritual support and strength to live on, it helps them to believe in the peaceful sky and remain strong.

What it does

The SOULOVÏ platform helps worldwide artists upload NFT art for free in the Ethereum network, keep up the spirit and earn money for trusted Ukrainian charity funds. Each NFT collector who buys NFT on our platform will contribute to the lives of ordinary Ukrainian people who, even in terrible times, do not give up their calling.

Challenges we ran into

The hardest part is finding an audience of collectors willing to buy the work. We have a plan:

Paid and free partnerships with well-known authors to attract their audience to the marketplace.
The main page will include only the best artworks according to the expert's mind. It will keep it clean and attractive to the user even when many works are uploaded to the site. The rest of the artworks can be found through categories and filters.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of how quickly (within 2-3 days of Instagram registration) we collected over 100 applications from Ukrainian artists willing to create something beautiful to support their people. We successfully added a lazy mint system, thanks to which the collector will pay for the mint. Many authors, especially in times of high gas prices, were stopped by the need to pay for the mint work before selling it. On SOULOVÏ, every author can post their work for free, and the collector, who is already ready to buy, will pay the transaction for the mint.

What we learned

We've understood art markets well through discussions with advisors from Rarible and other art marketplaces.
We learned how to implement lazy minting tokens when the actual mint happens on buying.

What's next for SOULOVÏ

We want to continue to support Ukrainians and Ukrainian art. To create a gallery that will be known worldwide for the work of exceptional Ukrainian artists.
