About SoulEase

SoulEase is an AI-powered Islamic mental health and career platform designed to help Muslim students and young professionals find clarity, confidence, and spiritual balance.

Why We Built It

As Muslim students ourselves, we noticed a huge gap in culturally and spiritually aligned support systems. Many students are stressed, uncertain about their future, and feel disconnected from their faith.

We asked:

“What if there was a single platform where students could feel heard, guided, and spiritually supported — all at once?”

That vision became SoulEase.

What SoulEase Does

• Career Guidance – AI-powered career navigator that helps you explore paths aligned with your skills and Islamic values.
• Emotional Support – Journaling, mood tracking, and analytics for better mental well-being.
• Faith-Based Tools – Quran & Hadith browsing, Duas, and daily reminders to stay grounded.
• AI Mentors – 3 brothers and 1 sister AI mentors for guidance, motivation, and emotional healing.

How We Built It

• Frontend: Next.js 14 (App Router) + Tailwind CSS
• AI Layer: Generative AI with personality-based agents, memory, and dynamic responses
• Backend/Orchestration: Custom API endpoints and agent flows
• Data Handling (MVP): Used browser Local Storage as a lightweight database and mock data for quick prototyping; planned migration to a persistent backend (MongoDB/Firebase) in future versions.
• Deployment: Vercel for fast, scalable hosting

We combined modern AI capabilities with Islamic principles to create a safe, welcoming space for students to grow emotionally, spiritually, and professionally.
