Inspiration
We're trying to make investing more transparent for children to enable better financial stability in their future.
What it does
The aim of the game is to make as much money as possible!
How we built it
We built it using a combination of python libraries, and using data from alphavantage.
Challenges we ran into
None of us had used pygame before, and we had a few confusing technical issues along the way (fixed by just committing hundreds of PNGs to github repo)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The efficient teamwork and collaboration we all showed when we had only just met this morning!
What we learned
How to use new libraries, and combining libraries (like getting matplotlib graphs to appear in pygame!).
What's next for Stock Starter
We need to find a "sell" button asset with a transparent background.
