Inspiration

Often volunteer activities are created because of disasters or incidental events. And when volunteer activities want to be made, they are not managed professionally by the organizers, so there are several cases that occur that volunteers can or are experiencing illness, and also the lack of exposure to information that reaches the community. Even with the lack of attitude and spirit of mutual cooperation, especially among teenagers, so that individualism is part of their lives today. They feel that individualism is a trait of modern society, while collectivism is primitive and traditional, thus reducing the number of solidarity and volunteer activities in Indonesia.

What it does

This web application lets you know about volunteering jobs or events happening nearby. You can look, apply, and even donate to those events. What really makes this application different from any other application is, this events or jobs is non-profit, making companies and job seekers comfortable.

How we built it

This application takes time to plan. We want to make sure this application serves as a missing link for people and organizations who seek to do volunteering actively and regularly. We spent time planning this application to make sure users get the most out of it. Started with problems that usually occur when people want to start volunteering and organizations that need credible and dedicated person to manage their event

Challenges we ran into

The problem of hackathon is that you don't have much time to organize or plan everything. We felt like the design and the development of this web can be perfected.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that finally we can represent peoples problem when we built this web.

What we learned

We learnt that it takes really long time to build and develop an idea. It is important to save as much time as possible and make the most out of it. Take only the essential so you can present something good to the audience and they already know our goal.

What's next for sosial - Volunteering Recruitment

There are a lot of things that are waiting to be build. Exciting new features will be made. For example, creating an event regularly, help the organization with their fundings, or maybe implement some AI here and there
