SoShine is a social service software providing help to people from vulnerable sections of society by providing help from emergency needs of covid patients to giving part time jobs to unemployed.

Inspiration

Seeing the economic impacts of the covid lockdown around the world and it's effects specially on vulnerable sections of society

What it does

It is a social service software connecting people in need to NGOs/Hospitals/Employers willing to help

How I built it

We built it in a website format using HTML, CSS and Bootstrap.

Challenges I ran into

Having no experience with backend, Different Time Zones

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We managed to finish project even though we had time zone differences

What I learned

Team work, Tried Backed programming, enhanced experience with website development

What's next for SoShine

Would introduce mobile application to target a large demographic. Also, Backend needs improvements.
