S.O.S.DOC is a concept for creation of a systemic solution to tackle the problem of treatment for people without health insurance during pandemic outbursts within EU. Our proposal implies the usage of a simple software app and the existing financial and institutional architecture. We bring to the table a simplified road map for addressing the problem. It lists all basic, key elements of the system and their interaction. During the Hackathon we were able to structure the project and give it more or less complete outlook, which is worth mentioning since we didn't know each other before that.

Our team believes that the solution, if implemented properly, would have profound impact to the crisis, while remedying this big societal burden through finding source of health insurance for the entire target group. In order for the idea to be developed further, there should be substantial financial and administrative support from the relevant parties, since our proposal implies collaborative effort from existing EU authorities as well as national commercial structures. On the other hand, if achieved, the solution would be there to stay even after the COVID-19 crisis and it's impact may be broadened and enhanced.
