Inspiration
We think that the world keeps moving forward, and in order to keep the demand for awesome applications, you have to challenge the status quo and create things that will improve the lives of people in ways you didn't imagine! For that we created a customized personal assistant called "Sophie", each user can create his own plugins for Sophie.
How it works
Users decide which plugins to run, where each user can create his own Javascript plugin which uses our basic API, that way the developer doesn't need to worry about anything else besides his backend. For example, as a smart house company I can create a plugin for controlling your house by voice. Lets say a user who orders a lot of pizzas and wanted to make it voice controlled, so he coded his plugin and he has the following syntax "Sophie order pizzas from with " for example "Sophie order pizzas from Pizza Hut with pepperoni".
Challenges I ran into
Our biggest challenge was to create a system that from the moment we release it to the public, could evolve by its own (without interference from our side) & do things we never imagined were possible with it!
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We managed to create a plugin which uses navigates in web pages using voice commands. Besides that, we created a plugin for talking with an AI - an AI which improves after each time you use it and that you can ask everything - beginning from "what is a dog?" and ending with "what is the weather at Chicago".
What's next for Sophie
We think that the next step in Sophie is to actually release it to the public, and let the developer community create the awesomest plugins possible. That way, our system evolves by its own - and by time becomes better and better.
