Songifted

Purpose

Songifted is a project I build for people who want to turn a personal story into a song gift. A specific memory gives a gift more context than a generic greeting.

What it does

Start with the recipient, occasion and story details. Choose the musical direction, review the lyrics, then generate the audio. The workflow separates writing from the audio step so names and story details can be checked first. Finished songs are paid; any available preview is not an unlimited free song plan.

Implementation

The web application uses React and TypeScript, with Cloudflare deployment tooling. The interface organizes story input, lyric review and audio generation as distinct stages.

Design considerations

Pronunciation, personal details and musical preference all need review by the person making the gift. An AI-generated song is a creative interpretation, so users should check the lyrics and audio before sharing.
