Inspiration

Since most of us have sitting at home, running out of new music to listen to, we feel that our timeline is a great way to discover new music.

What it does

Simply sign-in to Twitter and Spotify with the button on the home-page and get a playlist!

How we built it

We used a Flask backend to communicate with the APIs and generate the AI-based playlist, using a Markov chain bot.

Challenges we ran into

We ran into some challenges with cleaning up tweets to ensure that our AI only had to deal with text and getting an embed URL for the HTML.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We set out with a project that was ambitious for us and completed every part of it. We had never worked with Flask and connecting it with APIs previously, so we were quite proud of this.

What we learned

We learned how to integrate Flask with APIs with authorization and ways to preprocess, input data into, and get output from an AI that can be fed to an API.
