Song Suggester Discord Bot

Inspiration

We were motivated to do this to have some people be recommended new songs and genres just to try and to experience.

What it does

You are given a list of genres and you choose a genre. Then, our bot gives you a song recommendation from that genre.

How we built it

My partner and I used repl.it with python to make a bot for discord.

Challenges we ran into

It was difficult to use randomization functions and the package installment

Accomplishments that we are proud of

We are proud of the functionality and smoothness of the bot. It works well with the code and there are no errors.

What I learned

I learned how to make a discord bot with the help of my partner.

What's next for Song Suggester Discord Bot

We hope to make it bigger and to make it suggest more songs directly from a playlist or the web and to make it play these songs on the spot.
