The world of crypto and blockchain is growing fast, but learning it is still difficult, boring, and unrewarding for beginners. Most platforms either overwhelm users with technical jargon or fail to keep them engaged.

We wanted to solve this by combining:

What it does

SONED AI is an AI-powered Learn-to-Earn platform that helps users understand crypto, blockchain, and Web3 concepts while earning rewards. Core Features: AI Tutor Users ask questions and get instant, simplified explanations (like “Explain blockchain like I’m 10”) AI Quiz Generator Generates quizzes from any topic using AI Users earn XP for correct answers Earn System Ask questions → earn XP Complete quizzes → earn more XP Leaderboard Real-time ranking of top learners Real-time Backend Updates user progress instantly using Firebase

How we built it

Frontend: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (mobile-first UI) Clean dark theme with Web3-inspired design Backend: Vercel Serverless Functions (/api) REST APIs for AI, rewards, and leaderboard AI Integration: OpenAI API (GPT-based) Used for: Smart tutoring Dynamic quiz generation Database: Firebase Realtime Database Stores: User XP Leaderboard data Activity tracking Architecture: Frontend → Vercel API → OpenAI + Firebase

Challenges we ran into

AI Response Formatting Ensuring quiz outputs were valid JSON required prompt tuning Anti-cheat Logic Preventing users from spamming rewards forced us to move logic to backend APIs Real-time Updates Syncing leaderboard and XP in real-time needed careful Firebase structuring Time Constraint (24hrs) Balancing features vs polish was a major challenge
