Inspiration
SomaSmart was born out of our shared passion for addressing the educational disparities in rural Kenya. Witnessing the struggles faced by students in remote areas, who lack access to quality tutoring and academic resources, inspired us to create a solution that could bridge this gap. The high unemployment rate among educated youth and professionals further motivated us to develop a platform that not only supports students but also creates job opportunities for tutors.
