Inspiration
Our inspiration came from the problems people face in village areas when they need to buy products that are not easily available nearby. Many people have to travel to distant markets to purchase daily necessities. At the same time, local shopkeepers need better ways to reach more customers, and students are looking for part-time job opportunities. We wanted to solve these problems through a simple online platform.
What it does
Our project connects local shopkeepers with customers in their villages and nearby areas. Shopkeepers can create profiles and list their available products online. Customers can browse products and order them from the comfort of their homes. The platform also creates part-time delivery job opportunities for students. By connecting customers with nearby shops, we aim to make deliveries faster and support local businesses. We believe that we do not need to build stores everywhere when local shops can serve their communities.
How we built it
We designed the platform so that shopkeepers can create their profiles and upload information about the products they sell. Customers can view the listed products and place orders online.
Our main focus is to create a simple, user-friendly platform that connects people with nearby shops. We aim to make the ordering process convenient for customers while helping local shopkeepers grow their businesses.
Challenges we ran into
One of our main challenges was understanding the needs of people living in village areas. We also had to think about how to connect customers with the right shopkeepers, display products clearly, and make the ordering process simple for everyone.
Another challenge was planning a reliable delivery system that could connect local customers with nearby shops while providing part-time work opportunities for students.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud to develop an idea that addresses real problems in village communities. Our project aims to support local shopkeepers, make shopping more convenient for customers, and create earning opportunities for students.
We are especially proud that our idea uses technology to connect local communities and encourage the growth of small businesses.
What we learned
Through this project, we learned how technology can be used to solve everyday problems. We also learned the importance of understanding users' needs, designing a simple interface, organizing product information, and planning an effective delivery system.
Most importantly, we learned that a successful project is not only about technology but also about creating value for people.
What's next for Solving problem of village area
In the future, we plan to improve the platform by adding features such as online payments, live order tracking, customer reviews, and notifications.
We also aim to expand the platform to more villages, include more local shopkeepers, and provide more part-time opportunities for students. Our long-term goal is to make shopping easier in rural areas while helping local businesses grow through technology.
