Many unnecessary deaths happen since people don't know what to do in the case of an emergency and stress out. A website with information for common emergencies all in one place can help combat this.

Inspiration

Around 4,500 to 5,000 choking-related deaths occur in the United States every year. In addition to choking, deaths occur due to allergic reactions and seizures. Many of these deaths occur due to a lack of help or easy-access solutions.

What it does

To help combat these deaths, alongside the ones that occur due to allergies and seizures, we developed our product, R.I.C.K. Health Services, which provides people a step-by-step guide on how to help someone choking, during a seizure , or undergoing an allergic reaction

How we built it

We extensively coded a website using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. We researched the most effective ways to help someone during an emergency situation and incorporated them within our website using concise and easy-to-understand text.

Challenges we ran into

None of us had experience with HTML, CSS, or Javascript. We had to start from scratch and learn how to use various aspects of our project
