Inspiration

We were inspired by our joint love of traveling.

What it does

We are Solo. An app dedicated to being your travel companion as you navigate the world. Through our friendly chatbot, you can find new off-the-beaten-path adventures as you explore unfamiliar terrain. We are looking to take the stressors out of planning your travels through thorough recommendations based off of your responses to our travel companion AI.

How we built it

We built it through Figma. We started with a low fidelity prototype and transferred it into a high fidelity prototype.

Challenges we ran into

We struggled with minor prototype issues with elements disappearing during testing.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud of the prototype we put together as we learned how to do smart animate in the Figma 101 workshop.

What we learned

We learned how to work as a team and how to create smoother interaction within our prototype.

What's next for Solo

Solo would like to partner with local companies and fund upgrades. As well as instant voice translation and assist with pre-planning for trips.
