Inspiration

Solarium City was inspired by our love for board games, Nature, technology, and our culture. Some aspects of our design was inspired by the pc game Everywhere

What it does

Solarium City is a Adventure game with a series of mini games and a breathtaking asthetic that keeps players engaged and wanting more. Players roll Dice to compete mini games earn coins which could be used in Solarium City or the multiverse of Dicebound Realms

How we built it

Solarium City was designed from scratch in blender and textured in substance painter by Eltrim333, while the scripting was made from scratch by Ultim8dev in both typescript and code blocks. We first built a semi working prototype in primitives and when we finalized our design and scripting ideas we began.

Challenges we ran into

We run into design decisions; trying to figure out what layout would work best for the players field of view, and with scripting we run into bugs that affected the game loop. We did lots of testing and solved the problems

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are most proud of our design aesthetic and overall idea, we wanted to create a intricate world that stood out and no one has created. We're proud of our team work and dedication we put into Solarium City ( Dice bound realms )

What we learned

We learned that planning is essential, drafting down ideas and bring in testers to see their point of view and perspective. We learned that working in a team with people who have a similar creative mind elevates our design expertise.

What's next for Solarium City (Dice bound realms)

Solarium City is just a piece of the Dicebound Realms Multiverse, we plan to expand Solarium City and make it a more immersed world with a series of mini games to keep the players entertained. If we had more time we plan to add more mini games, make players get more adrenaline rush and make the worlds functionability more immersive putting in more detail
