I realized how useful it would after my Microsoft Office Suite license expired recently, which meant that I was completely unable to open csv/excel files.
What it does
It allows people to open said types of files on-the-fly, providing mobile support for it.
How we built it
We divided front/backend/hosting between members of our group and used a GitHub repository to push code commits. From there the person in charge of hosting the site scp'd the files into the VPS and configured it.
Challenges we ran into
Trying to setup a reverse proxy for HTTP traffic using Nginx; we later switched to Apache
Accomplishments that we're proud of
For us it was our first time dealing with backend programming and using a framework such as Flask.
What we learned
It's vital to understand how each portion of the tech stack interacts with the other

Adding support for various other filetypes and allowing ways to edit them
