Inspiration

Allowing people to leverage their investment in solar panels and storage systems while incentivising efficient energy usage.

What it does

Ebits is an on-line trading platform for Kilowatt hours(KWH). Participants can buy and trade future KWH's that will be added or deducted from their utility bill.

How we built it

Using Angular, d3.js, jquery, Labview and UtilityAPI

Challenges we ran into

Building a large transactional database in the limited time we have available

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Building and putting together the front end, the Utility API meter data and the labview engine under enormous time constraints
