Inspiration

I found the all children are curios about the space. They always thought how the earth look from the space, how big the sun, how far the starts. So I tried to simulate the solar system so a child can visualize that how is our solar system.

What it does

It simulates the solar system. Provide the knowledge about every planet of our solar system. We also can see the differences between the planets. Their radius and how the rotate around the sun. Their rotation on the axis.

How we built it

First we create a spherical 3D model for planets using blender and we will use pre made textures for these models. Now we will use unity 2019.4.33f1 to create the solar system. We will create our own gravity using C# script. We will create many animations to make the simulation more interactive. We will create many controllers to change the camera angle and distance, and last use Unity webGL to deployment.

Challenges we ran into

For creating the simulation of solar system we need to know the rules of gravity how it works in real life. How can we simulate it at various speed. Size of assets should be low so it downloaded at the time. Do not create garbage values.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The simulation is looking very beautiful and animations and artificial gravity is working so well.

What we learned

We learn the creating animation in unity and Scripting. How to create Ui in unity. Apart from coding and all stuff we have learned about the solar system how amazing it is. How the gravity works. What are the various theories about the gravity. How each planet is different from other. How beautiful is our world.

What's next for Solar System Simulation

We can make the simulation more precious then we can visualize the various space events. We can be able to predict various future events. We can add more planet and start system. And also we can add the moon/s of every planet.
