Inspiration

Our Team Member Abby came up with the Idea ! Out of her love of the solar system!

What it does

Randomizes a mini solar system, and gives the user it's lore upon mouse hover!

How we built it

We built it in python, with quite a lot of stumbles as we're all relatively new to the language

Challenges we ran into

When one thing worked another broke, working with tkinter canvas background meant a lot of the help we could get with research wasn't usable, as we had to learn to work on top of the canvas.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting the basic frame work done, Super proud of that! Abby designed all of the planets herself, which we were incredibly happy with as they look amazing!

What we learned

How to work together, how to research efficiently, and most of all, how to be creative !

What's next for Solar System Randomizer

Ideally we'd like to make the gui nicer to look at, have much more randomization, include things like pictures of the little aliens, pictures of the planet surface etc upon mouse click. Just little info graphics users can get more immersed with!
