Solar System Under Your Control

Inspiration

We want to work on something new instead of using our current knowledge. Python 3D and gui is a new field for us and we would like to see how far we can go. The solar system prompt is the most suitable for us.

What it does

It presents the solar system in 3D with some features for the users to explore

How we built it

We use the python language with vpython package and its widget.

Challenges we ran into

Vpython is quite limited. There aren't many functions we can use for our project. And the gui widget is a little hard to use.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

First time trying 3D and gui in python and it's a pretty good success.
