Inspiration

The solar system we live in.

What it does

This project is a 3D visualization of the solar system built using React, Three.js, and related technologies. It allows users to explore the solar system, view planets and their moons, and get detailed information about each celestial body. Users can also calculate distances between planets and the Sun or other planets.

How we built it

I built it using typescript, react, threeJS and zustand

Challenges we ran into

optimizing the project as much as possible as well as the math behind it, and also some texture and 3D problems.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm proud that I learned new things like threeJS and zustand which I never used before.

What we learned

I learned using ThreeJS and Zustand.

What's next for Solar System

I will try to optimize it even further, fix more 3D problems and texture problems, use real time info rather than just data I put in.
