Solana Sharks Counter App

Inspiration

The inspiration for this project was to help Solana create a whitelisting system for their network

What it does

This program is a counter app that counts and accesses the blockchain.

How we built it

We built this using Rust, Anchor, and React

Challenges we ran into

In the process of this project we were challenged with learning Rust for the first time. Two of our group members are also running Windows so we had to install WSL in order to use the required dependencies.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

After the end of the hackathon, we are proud of being able to learn an extremely interesting technology in a short period of time.

What we learned

We learned about the low level language Rust, how smart contract works, how the Solana blockchain works, as well as how to interact with the block chain using RPCs.
